I will play an essential role in fostering a sense of community among all the schools in our district to ensure that each school is united in pursuing a common goal of providing high-quality education for all students. My dedication to fostering connections between schools and our community will be pivotal in creating a unified and inclusive education system that benefits everyone. My interactions with past and present BISD team members will offer invaluable insights into our shared history and guide us in our continuous efforts to enhance education in the future. I will be accountable to the community and will make decisions that are in the best interest of the students and the community at large.

As a leader, it's imperative I exhibit integrity and acknowledge that open communication is essential to leadership when conveying ideas, building connections, and achieving mutual understanding. I am committed to going beyond merely hearing what others say, by actively listening and comprehending their perspective and emotions. It is crucial to display empathy and understanding by recognizing others' feelings, viewpoints, and concerns, which fosters a sense of connection and trust. I respect others' perspectives, and am eager to understand differing viewpoints, which allows productive discussions and helps build relationships. I will strongly advocate accurate, consistent and transparent communication and always strive to match my words to my actions. I realize that effective communication is critical to building solid relationships within Team Boerne ISD, and I'm ready for it!
